LEADERS OF TOMORROW PROJECT
In 1997 the Dr. P. N. Singh Foundation launched a unique year long "Leaders of Tomorrow"
Project in Mumbai for slum children studying in schools. The project exposes students from
the underprivileged sections of our society to a specially designed programme on a continuous
basis so that they occupy leadership positions in different professions. These children have
low self-esteem and inferiority complex because of the socio-economic background they come from.
The children are selected out of the eighth and ninth standard classes. The idea is to teach
them things like goal-setting, time management, communication skills, public speaking, and
social values, which they would not learn in a crowded classroom or from text-books.
The programme runs over 40 weeks with each weekly session having a duration of two hours each.
Rajiv Kumar Luv has been instrumental in developing the Course Syllabus as well as a "Training Manual."
He personally conducts these sessions along with a trusted band of specially trained and committed faculty.
Anyone wishing to conduct such sessions in return for a token honorarium can contact him through this website.
Contributions are welcome from the readers to support this good cause and enable the Foundation to reach a larger number of deserving
students. The contributions may be sent to: Dr. P. N . Singh Foundation, G-3, Blue Haven, J.N. Marg, Vakola, Santacruz (East), Mumbai-400055.
